Meet The Ace Insurance Staff
![]() David Lloyd graduated with an Electrical Engineering Degree, Magna Cum Laude in 1974. After 3 years with Hewlett Packard he took the big plunge to join the family insurance business started by his father in 1952. Through the years he has specialized in Health Insurance and has been active on Agent Advisory Committees and a recipient of many awards. It has been his greatest passion to help people get what they need and he works hard to get applications approved and claims paid.
Steve Faver was a successful self-employed businessman before joining our team. He has been a licensed agent with Ace Health Insurance Services since November of 1996. He started with us as an agent providing coverage for individuals and soon moved into the small group market. His knowledge of both group and individual plans is an advantage in helping our clients. He specializes in groups with 2 to 50 employees. Steve is especially successful at securing coverage for those who have medical conditions, who would normally be declined for individual or family coverage. In many cases he is able to secure coverage for them with qualifying small business plans which cover preexisting conditions. Steve is a very hands on agent who walks clients through the application and underwriting process. He utilizes his dynamic personality to conduct enrollment meetings and benefit updates to the employees at enrollment and renewal time. Even after the case is written he remains the primary liaison between the client and the insurance carrier for the lifetime of the policy. This allows him to assist with the administration of the policy for new hires, terminations, etc. Although Steve handles many group accounts he still is in the office 95% of the time to service and meet his client's needs.
Yleana Manzanero started her career in the medical field as a medical assistant. She dealt with patients and insurance companies on a daily basis. She quickly learned how the health insurance industry worked and how it can be very confusing and frustrating at times. She received her insurance license in 1999 and has been helping people with insurance ever since. Yleana specializes in processing all the applications that come in and making sure everything is absolutely perfect before it is submitted to the insurance carrier. This speeds up the application process so you can get covered quicker. Yleana also keeps up with all the changes and new products by attending seminars and consulting with company representatives. Yleana has been with Ace Health Insurance Services for 3 years and enjoys having the opportunity to make insurance easier to purchase and understand. Yleana is also our bilingual specialist, which makes serving our Spanish-speaking clients easier. She has received many referrals from clients, which is the greatest satisfaction in doing this job. Linda Wilson has concerned herself with serving the health issues of others for most of her adult life. She graduated from Cal State University Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology and then spent almost a year working in a Home and Hospital for the aged in England. After her children were born she left the work force, but was still active as a volunteer mom in the local public schools and in the PTA. She served on the Executive Board of Arcadia Child Health Council for several years, serving the needy children in her community. She continues being a Red Cross Volunteer and drives for the Meals-on Wheels Program. Now that her children are grown, she is able to devote more time to the health industry and serves ACE Health Insurance Services with her expertise as a licensed agent.
Stephanie Higham graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with honors in 1996 with a degree in Psychology. She spent several years teaching young children and assisted in directing a pre school before making a career change. She received her insurance license in 1999 and has been assisting people with their insurance needs ever since. She has been with Ace Health Insurance Services for 3 years and is the manager of the health department. Stephanie attends seminars to increase her knowledge of the products as well as advising the insurance carriers on product changes and how it will affect the public. Stephanie also gives seminars to groups of individuals and advises on choosing health insurance plans that not only fit their needs but their budget as well. She also specializes in Senior products and helps those on Medicare find supplemental insurance. Keeping up with all the changes in health insurance and finding products to meet the clients needs are her number one priority.
Jessie Lam is a college student who joined our team in May of 2001. Jessie assists the agents in getting all the packages of information out to all our prospective clients. She handles all the ordering of supplies and makes sure we have everything necessary to keep our clients happy. She also handles phones when necessary and is bilingual which is a great asset. Jessie continues to further her education and will possibly be another agent added to our team in the future.
